Dufton Bluebells

Jess was running with Eden Runners from Dufton, I went over with the idea of getting some shots of bluebells in Flakebridge Woods where they were supposed to be great. I hadn't put much effort into navigation and dropped Jess off with the runners and then relied on SatNav to get to the bluebells. What followed was a about 20mins of doublebacking on single track lanes and private roads. In the end I abandoned the car at the end of a lane and proceeded on foot following footpath signs with no idea if I was actually in or near Flakebridge woods.
I recorded the hike on my watch so that I could check the GPS track later to see where I was - confirmed I was not at Flakebridge altough I did find some bluebells. I was trying to make a composition focusing through a group to a subject but without success. 
Must try harder, photography and navigation!
