I was out about 7 o’clock but there was nothing that caught my eye for a blip. I did however notice a bus going to Langdale at 7.30. According to my timetable the first one is 9.25, the one I was on yesterday. Seems that more have been added since the summer timetable was printed.

Later I made a packed picnic lunch and went to Brockhole, the Lake District National Park Visitor Centre*. Had a wander, sat in the shade with my sandwich and crisps, took lots of photos, sat by the lake and ate the rest of my lunch then wandered back up through the gardens again.

I could have done a collage with all flowers but decided on a mix of subjects.

*I read earlier this year that the National Park wants to end the lease on the property.
