Sir Edward Elgar’s Birthplace

T has had an admiration for Elgar ever since she sang his choral masterpiece ‘The Dream of Gerontius’ while still at school. Today we spent a highly informative visit to his birthplace museum near Worcester. The museum, sound garden and the house itself are skilfully curated by the NT to give a fascinating insight into his remarkable life. I also had a very good catch up call with Budapest when we got home.
