Peace Doves

“At St John’s Church a community art installation of peace doves will be on display from May 5 to 16. Card doves with handwritten messages of peace will fill the church rafters, while knitted doves will adorn the churchyard. A visit from a friend this morning then a lift to the supermarket before walking down to the high street to see the Peace Doves. I was the only person in the church and it was blissful to just sit for a while in the church, listening to the recorded soundtrack of bird song, including a cuckoo, while the busy world carried on outside...
