Lobster Alive...

The seaweed 'sargassum' seems to be easing off this morning.  Just a pity it's created a 3 foot barrier of the stuff all the way along the beach.  I went for a swim but it was still quite murky.

Took a 5km walk this morning over towards Christchurch and found the more expensive houses up by the hill.  Came out near the Tapas restaurant so walked back by the boardwalk and beach.  In the afternoon we'd booked into the Lobster Alive restaurant in Bridgetown so we all went for a wee Bridgetown explore.  We aimed to go for the standard bus but a 'Boogey bus' came along and offered us a lift.  A boogey bus is a small bus taxi.  They always seemed very busy and not able to take 4 extra passengers but they managed to squeeze you in.

Did a bit of air conditioned duty free shopping then had a wee walk around the town before finding a bar across the road from the restaurant before dinner.

Lobster Alive, unlike Tapas from a few days ago, does actually server its namesake.  They were billed as having fresh in the tank lobster but they were easily with the information that they didn't have live lobster just now.

We got a taxi back up to the hotel and went for 2 for 1 margherittas at Jakes, across the road.
