Weigela and Lilac

Had a leisurely walk down to the Heath Centre for my appointment with the nurse at 12.30pm.  She changed the dressing on my leg ulcer.  She says its healing well.  The pain I'm getting is nerve pain.  She's going to refer me to a " Wound Care Team " ...  but  an appointment could be a while coming through and she thinks the ulcer will be healed by the time I see them.  I still need to go back and see her next week for a Doppler Test.

After my appointment I got a bus to Swalwell and then straight on to another bus to Winlaton as I was going to visit Neil ( fortunately my new bus pass arrived this morning so I could travel for free ).

Neil and Luna met me at the bus station.  Back at Neils house we sat outside in the garden.  It was really hot and sunny.  See collage Extra of a couple of photos of Luna... and the fun cup Neil gave me full of Pepsi Max.  We sat outside for quite a while having a good catch up.  Neils work has " dried up " a little due to no cricket being played in India and Pakistan at the moment because of the recent conflict there.  He hopes things will pick up soon as there are games scheduled to take place in the UAE.  Later on he walked with me to the bus station.   

I got a bus to Lidl, did some shopping, then a bus to the Metrocentre ...... and then a bus home.  Good job travel was free or else I would have spent a " fortune ".
