Early Basin bob

Basin bob first thing in the Blackwater. We sunned ourselves afterwards, sheltering from the wind, on the east bank of the sea wall. It was lovely to chat and appreciate the spring sunshine.

Later, I met up with B for a canal walk. We clocked up the 5k and sheltered mid point at the Barge cafe for a coffee and sandwich. 

Later I spent some time planting out the 'wedding dahlia'. The ground is rock hard due to the lack of rain. I shall need to keep my eye on them, so I have staked them in already.
