Acrylic sunflowers at MAC

An early morning walk with the lovely MLaM from the Basin to the beach huts and back. The wind has not died down, so we did not dawdle on our return.  Counting our blessings,  we were just in time for the tide for a Basin bob. It is getting colder in the water again, but still thrilling. We had less time to chat, nevertheless enjoyed a post-swim sea-wall hot drink and catch-up.

After a shower and change, I met up with B for a walk. We chose Tiptree heath ... somewhere we have not been to for a while. Before long we heard a delightful birdsong  ... a nightingale! Calling out loud and strong.  Very exciting and unexpected.

The evening was MAC - a chance to work with acrylic- Sebastian Chew workshop with sunflowers. Mine was not too bad, but on reflection I would have been better to paint one from a side angle - mine looks a bit like 'Little Weed, from Bill and Ben.  There is always next time.
