Reflections and shadows

Was reading some Tagore last night before I hit the bed. The analogies are so all encompassing that there's always something new that can be discovered even within a seemingly simple sentence.

Few random lines:

"The hills are like shouts of children who raise their arms, trying to catch the stars."

"The smell of the wet earth in the rain rises like a great chant of praise from the voiceless multitude of the insignificant."
