Arthur's Seat

A lovely day but very chilly initially. Almost a ground frost last night. The chilly NE wind takes the heat out of the day. Partner has a craft fair at the weekend, so I have a quick lunchtime walk mainly in woodland. Views are quite clear apart from the heat haze which produces wobbly images.

After work, I am on my own as partner has coerced twin 1 in to helping with the remodelling of the front garden, so I go for another quick walk. Less heat haze from the top of the hill away from tarmac roads, so a fairly sharp image of Arthur's Seat. When I get back home, I am given the task of raking stones out of an area of the garden under a birch tree. This is so we can remove some vegetation, and several years of leaf litter. Quite tiring due the injuries from the road accident in 2022. But I complete most of the task before twin 2 comes home and does some of the remain stones.
