The Miss(es)
I think it is fair to say that I have fallen behind with Blip.
My natural OCD at the thought of having a miss on a day (or few) will have to be overcome, but the truth of the matter is that life is just so full at present and I’m struggling to find time to keep up! It’s a far cry from earlier this year when there was absolutely NOTHING going on!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s all good stuff (children’s activities, the play, work promotion - which as far as I can tell so far, simply means LOADS more meetings - and a rather lovely development in my personal life), but it does mean that living this busy full life, I’m short on time to talk and process it here, as well as catching up with the lives of everyone else.
But, argh!! How I hate having “a miss” on blip, but I guess I will just have to get over that and catch up as and where possible. If you see me back blipping on a daily basis, it’s safe to assume that the wheels have fallen off somewhere!
The week that would follow this photo, was emblematic of my blip absence, with a plethora of aforementioned meetings, dad taxi rides to cricket training and football matches, rehearsals for The Scottish Play and an early morning start for a return day trip to a client meeting in St Albans.
Somehow some time was found for the personal aspect and the week ended on a high with Pizza Friday at my sister’s place with the wider family.
I started brightly, but after we’d had tea I could quite happily have fallen asleep in the totally unnecessary vegetable pizza my sister had served!! It was nice to see all family members happy and smiling though.
The sunshine really does make life - however busy - just that little bit easier.
Now a nice weekend to look forward to and spending some quality time with the children*.
Have a good one all!

*who will be grilling me on my lines.
