Kind but not friendly

I dreamt I had a minor medical issue and went along to the clinic as normal. An old British doctor gave me some cursory advice and told me the bill came to £300,000, which was more than my insurance would cover. I then faced financial ruin and had to work for the rest of my life to pay off the debt. It’s probably what happens hundreds of times a day in the USA.

I met a friend at Coco Beach and we ate some tasty fried cassava. Whilst I was waiting I talked to a man playing with his family on the beach. He was originally from Congo but had lived in Norway for many years. He commented on the quiet and orderly nature of Europe and that he comes to Africa for a dose of frenetic activity. Coco Beach wasn’t particularly frenetic this afternoon but I definitely got his drift. ‘Norwegians are kind but not friendly’, he said.
