Bittersweet Afternoon

We had a visit this afternoon by David, son of a very good friend of ours.  He came to inform us that his Dad had just died - aged 92.  We've known both Harry and David for many many years and we spent a pleasant afternoon reminiscing on days gone by. The picture on the wall is a Peter Brook signed print entitled 'A Greeting' (see extra) ... it's of the farmhouse his Dad lived in for years and Harry can be seen waving a greeting from the door.  Harry was quite a character - his death has marked the end of an era.
