Fairfield Horseshoe Fell Race

Tam and Jim both ran well in today's Fairfield Horseshoe Fell Race in really hot weather!

Hundreds of runners took part.

The route is Nab Scar, Great Rigg, Fairfield, Dove Crag and Low Sweden Bridge. 

10 miles running and lots and lots of climb!

Ros and I walked up Nab Scar, and that was hard work in this heat! The extras show Rydal Water from Nab Scar.

Afterwards they downed pints of beer and ate delicious pizzas in Ambleside. We joined in the celebrations too!
