all welcome at the artist open house

Summer-style weather today and lots of people used the day to wander around the artists open houses, some of them even buying! I made £30 on my artwork, but couldn't help buying two pieces of artwork which cost £60. I don't think I'll get rich at this!  It's a lot of fun though..
People are generally kinder than I expected, generous with their praise and keep any negative remarks out of earshot. Cafe with seating in the lovely patio is a roaring success. Bumped into one person who I like a lot but had dropped out of contact with, which was an absolute delight.
