A Gift

…………………………………to myself! 

Last month when I saw steveng’s post I knew I needed a copy for my walls…today the postie delivered this to me and I absolutely love it! The original photo is taken about 3 minutes from my front door…so thanks to Steven for highlighting Gill’s work and to Gill for being the craftsperson she is. A frame is arriving next week for it so I now need to pick a wall!

Another absolutely glorious day although some cloud and a stiff breeze mid afternoon did spoil my afternoon reading under the parasol. Little one woke at a reasonably manageable 7am but was a little grot bag when his Grandad came to pick him up as he didn’t want to leave. I ended up having to walk with him to the park to get him out of the house but once there I said my goodbyes and walked to the end of the prom and back. Most of the rest of the day has been spent in the garden, some of it relaxing and some repotting plants. Pots have all been fed and watered this evening…as have I and I’m now debating whether to go for another walk or pick up my book again.
