Matching

…………………………………….pegs! Pray tell me I’m not the only one who has to have matching pegs for each item of laundry!!

Sixteen hours of free electric today so I made the most of it…four loads of laundry; a load in the dish washer and it’s now doing a cleaning cycle. The tumble dryer is still going with towels but I’ll hopefully get a cleaning cycle done before I go to bed. Only one load was line dried…my garden isn’t big enough to get anymore out. The bedding has dried on the airer and bannister with the mattress protector and towels being put through the tumble dryer.

MC called round after lunch with the wee man…so I put him to good use! With his newly acquired skills at dumping stuff I sent him off with a carload of stuff to actually be dumped! That’s got rid of some old kitchen chairs I was using in the garden…they’d been chairs for about 30 years and only cost a fiver each when bought new so didn’t owe me anything! They’ve been replaced with folding chairs which fit in the shed. Also got rid of the carpet and lino off cuts which were stashed in the main bathroom, it seemed such a waste but I’d nowhere to store them…I did keep a couple of bits for any accidental damages.

It was lovely first thing but the cloud came in with the tide early afternoon and it got quite breezy as the tide turned. Late afternoon, once I’d taken the boys home, I managed an hour or so sitting out to top up my vitamin D for the day..
