Dull

My voice a little hoarse from last night's football, I chatted to A before getting up. As forecast, it was dull and damp, so I got on with work. It brightened a little at lunchtime, so I took the opportunity to stretch my legs, and crossed Klaksvík to the "park" by the road to the village of Norðoyri. I took its Turf zone and this phot looking back to Klaksvík and the familiar hills of Hálgafelli and Klakkur. I followed the rocky coastline past the diver status (see extra) to the pier beside the boat houses. Just next to this is an "aquaman" Turf zone that's not been taken for 9 years. Despite the ladder enabling open-water swimming, I'm not venturing into the Atlantic at 62 degrees north!

Walking back, I spotted that the KÍ ground was hosting a game between Norway and Austria in the EUFA U-17 women's championships. I later found out that the finals of the competition are being hosted here and at the national stadium in Tórshavn. This must explain why there are no KÍ home games for another 10 days. After collecting some groceries, I walked back to the flat, cooked a late lunch, had a nap and got back to work.
