Super Saturday :-)

Several things aligned today to make what has been called 'Super Saturday'.  The farmers market in the square, a plant sale in one of the streets, the art group exhibition and a book sale. 

The book sale was supposed to be in the village hall with the art exhibition, but so many books were donated we moved it outside and put up a gazebo for the stall people to get some shade. It's for  25 charitable things in the village in 2025,  this one to raise money to convert the phone box into a book exchange. 
The plant sale has been running for a few years and raises money for Shipston Home Nursing - a local hospice charity.

With the sun returning, everywhere was busy - over 400 visitors to the art group exhibition and a few sales too.   We met up with Rose & Rob at the art sale  and one of Gill's lino prints has arrived with it's new owner :-)
