Buzzard Tail Light

I think this is one of our local buzzards. One of them buzzed the front garden very low the other day and yesterday an individual stooped into the bramble/elder bush in the front garden. I could see its talons extended near ground level but it didn't catch ratty or a vole.

At lunchtime I heard a crow protesting in one of the ash trees and caught a glimpse of a buzzard swooping away.

This bird was very high over the house riding the stiff breeze late this afternoon. Love the way the light caught its tail.
