Brügge
Reached lovely Brügge after 270 km on the road in sunny weather from Cloppenburg. I have been there some times in my business life, L has never been there. It’s an impressive beautiful old city. It is said it was established around the year 800 as a market and trading place with the Vikings. Brügge might come from the Nordic name Brygge, which means pier. The further development of Brügge, its culture, architecture, stunning churches and other amazing buildings testify to a rich from that time further well developed city far from what the Nordic countries managed to develop.
Got a lovely day late out in this wonderful city. Will come back to better commenting when I am back home up north.
