Hosta Leaves

Back home and a problem immediately as the washing machine has decided to stop working! Unable to find anyone to deal with it today, so that will have to wait.

The garden continues to flourish, despite the lack of rain. These hostas have fully unfurled and I’ll need to be split them next winter to give them more space. I was told yesterday that a good way to prevent slugs attacking the leaves is to drench them with water which has been combined with wild garlic; apparently the slugs hate the taste/smell of garlic.?
