Forget-me-not ( Myosotis arvensis )
Today was the village plant sale. It opened at 9:30, we wandered down just after 10:00. They were almost sold out! Fortunately the cafe was still functioning so coffee and cake was obtained and in my case a bacon buttie as well :-)) The event was scheduled to go on until 2:00 long before then there would be nothing left.
We did more work in the garden in the afternoon, after a trip to the recycling centre. While working I looked for blips. At the moment Forget-me-nots are flowering all over the place. Clickychick had hoped Forget-me-nots would do well in her woodland garden. We now realise she need M silvestris (of the woodland) as opposed to M arvensis ( of the fields). One interesting point on the blip the top three flowers haven't been pollinated while the lower ones have. The yellow turns white after pollination.
