Bogbean idda Muddos
A beautiful sunny day again, hitting about 20⁰c. Hardly a cloud in the sky, until late evening. Breezy at times, flat calm tonight.
Up fairly early, washing out after breakfast. Sammy didn't cope well with the heat on our walkies, good job he's in Shetland. A morning in the garden. Picked up friend Julie, nipped into Lerwick, then down to mam's. A cuppa in mam's garden, then a walk. A barbecue up at Madeline's at teatime. A quiet evening at home.
Me, mam and Jonny had a good look around the trees in mam's meadows. They're really coming on well. When the meadows were cut yearly, they came alive with colourful wildflowers, sadly most now disappeared. There still are the odd ones that make it through the boggy marshes, like this Bogbean. A beautiful plant, and apparently helps reduce swelling, maybe should take some for my knee. Taken in the Aith Meadows, Cunningsburgh.
