Heavy Artillery
As I mentioned before we do have a challenge with ASF (African swine fever). So fences, kilometres and kilometres long, through our country. With gates for those who want or need to pass through.
Unfortunately, some people don't agree with this approach and go a step further, by thwart the efforts to stop the virus from spreading. So gates are left open, snap locks removed.
This road is not heavily used, and mostly by farmers. But I have never seen the gate, left corner of my entry, being closed.
Today I found this animal grid on the road. A pretty heavy one, until now I only new the lighter ones (e.g. at animal parks). Perhaps the wild boars will learn to walk over the blocks of concrete at the side. But most probably it will stop them.
The action costs already without these grids quite a lot of money. It is a pity that heavy artillery is needed ...
