Forget me nots

I was a bit weary this morning, after our night out last night. I had to deal with a few emails, then got myself ready to go and visit a friend. I arrived at her house to find her and her husband enjoying a cuppa in the sunshine. They are dog sitting this week, so S and I took the dog for a walk, while her husband went back to work.

We had a lovely walk. It was sunny and warm in the sun, but there is still a cool/cold breeze. We stopped in at a cafe for a cuppa and a cheese scone. We sat outside, in a sheltered spot, then continued our walk, looping back round to S’s house.

I headed home for a late lunch and chores. Later in the afternoon I popped out for a few things, then made tea. I had a wee walk after tea, then we had a chat with an old friend. I also heard that another old friend has had an accident and broken her wrist, which is not good. We finished our evening off with a couple of episodes of Friday Night Dinner.

We have lots of lovely forget me nots in bloom at the moment.
