Angel
My day started with chores, a short walk, then a run, while TT went to church.
TT had tickets for him and BB to go to the Edinburgh v Bath rugby game, which BB was really looking forward to. However one evening this week he messaged me to tell me he was playing in a rugby 7s tournament at Musselburgh, as his team was struggling for players. I reminded him of the tickets. Silence!
After much agonising on his part, he went straight to Musselburgh, played in his team’s first game, scored three tries, ran off to catch a bus to Edinburgh, went to Waverley station where he got changed, and left his bag, jumped on a tram, and arrived at the rugby with ten minutes to spare. A miracle!! Apparently his team co-opted someone to take his place. I understand the other teams were all much stronger, so BB’s team didn’t do so well this weekend.
The boys enjoyed the rugby. I went into Edinburgh later to pick up an order, then met the boys after the game. We went for a quick drink, then had some lovely Indian food. BB devoured his, as he had hardly eaten anything all day. He then ran off to meet a friend, and they traveled back to Glasgow together, then had a night out there!
TT and I just headed home, and had a quiet rest of evening.
This lovely angel is above a doorway at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral.
