Red Hot

It was a hot day. I started off by putting the summer duvet on and doing laundry. Looked for earring. Still missing. There was an issue out east that required many messages and 2 phone calls. Did not help my stress levels.

In order to compensate I did some housework, vacuuming and stripped the spare bed. Then to the garden after a late lunch in the sun.

Everything is so dry. I'm trying to get all the plants potted up. But first I pruned the pier is, the larger one more than the smaller. Over dinner dinner pots but I gave up at 4 and I'm not sure doing it in a hot day is a good idea. The ground is like concrete.

Then lay in the sun. Did I say it was hot, before plugging in Mum's new phones and making dinner. Direct haver much time to eat it as I had to be out before 7.

I got off the bus early and walked down to the Usher Hall then sat outside in the sun like loads of other people till it was time to go in. Unlike Tuesday In was in the uncomfortable seats in there Gods. The gig was good and the stand had been converted into standing room. It started slightly early and finished slightly late, just after 11.

It is loud though and you do have to like bagpipes. And Can't Barnes who Is never really heard of until about 4 weeks ago and ended Tuesday's concert was also in the bill, singing there saved greatest showman song. He used to be a Chilli. Who'd have guessed?

It was a very mixed crowd, if day from primary school age to older even than me. Definitely feel good stuff. And the best bit was a #47 pulled up as I came out of the Usher Hall so was home today.

Y messaged earlier. They are back in Inverurie as they got home from Mrs Val's funeral on Thursday night to hear G's brother has died suddenly so they went back up yesterday. Funeral is 22nd. I didn't know D but I think I'll try and go.
