Dust behind us.

Packed up to head off to the coast for a week or so, before returning to K's to drop off the camper trailer, with a couple of stops on the way.
Went into Emerald to fuel up the Toyota, (gulp!!) and get groceries etc. We are heading for Burdekin Dam, with a vision of a campsite alongside the water. Finally on our way, and heading for Mt Coolon, where we are stopping the night. We had stopped here, on our way to K's after PJ's accident.
This photo is taken in the side mirror, as the sun was behind us and I couldn't get a picture out of the window without a lot of sunflare. It was a dirt road for about 50km, after leaving the main highway.
Not far out of Clermont, there was a field (paddock) of soy seed, all dried off and looked like it was about ready to harvest. Plus about 40 – 50 Emu's in it. PJ pulled over as soon as he could, but I didn't manage to get any decent photos, as they either took off due to hearing me coming or the car that also went past. Only ever seen 5 or 6 Emu's at one time before.
