The Next Stage

We arrived in Edinburgh at 6.45am this morning. Bb’s mum has sadly entered the end of her life stage and we wanted to be with her. We dropped our bags off at Dot’s and drove to Largs in Dot’s car. It was a beautiful morning in Edinburgh and the sun was shining brightly when we arrived in Largs. We’re now beside her bed in the care home and she seems comfortable and peaceful. We’re not sure how much she’s aware of things, but we spent the afternoon playing Scottish music and recounting all the places around the world where we’ve enjoyed time together. We’re at her bedside, keeping her company and will stay here during the night. We hope she feels our love.
