Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day in Switzerland and also in some other countries.
These are my three babies when they were still quite small.

Today my son and his wife are inviting me to a special lunch and my daughter and grandson will also be there. Part of my treat is to stay the night in a hotel overlooking the lake and mountains. So wonderful for this town girl!

Honey will get the care and attention from the kind cat-sitter she knows who will come in late this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

Extras:
- My eldest son in arms. We want to protect our sweet ones forever, but we cannot. They grow up and need to live their life experiences and connect with their destiny in whatever form that takes.
- The beautiful blackbird who sings on the tree near my balcony in the evenings and early mornings. Wondrous and soul nourishing.
