Colour
I’ve been a little hit and miss with my Blips this week and I’m now trying to catch up. There are some events that I ought to list for my own benefit, so I’ll see how I get on.
Starting with yesterday, Saturday.
I was emptying items into our recycling bins when I stopped to look at the colours against the blue sky, so a camera image with my OM 1 and not a phone image, for a change. I need to get more used to this camera as I’ve hardly used it recently and my trusty OM5 Mk2 appears to have packed in on me. And it’s not the battery. I’m not sure it’s worth the £100 + amount it would cost to have it looked at.
This activity prompted me to find my macro lens, which is a lovely lens and I spent a bit of time photographing a fern that is grossing in a pot.
Also a trip to Silkstone Common Bakery for some flapjack and I let them make me a salad sandwich to go with my soup. Then onto KDA for a new hose pipe spray. I think my old one is probably hidden among some clutter and it wasn’t as easy to use as my new one.
I was doing some tweaking as to how I took my medication yesterday, mainly to try to work out how different time intervals work out for me. Too little Madopar and I come to a halt, too much and I don’t feel settled. At least I seem to have got rid of some of the anxiety pains. Just got to keep positive and tell my body that it’s not the meds that are doing that to me.
Quite a busy photography day for me. I began by trying to see if I could create a more satisfactory collage image of the abstract patterns created by the sun on our local roads. I think I’m being unduly swayed by the images I like rather than the best ones to create the panel. I’m still pursuing this idea because I’d like to create a Shrimp Zine and each time I work with the images I get a better understanding of what works and what would be better as a stand alone image.
