THE RHODE TO .......................
Morecambe not Morrocco. Those of a certain age may well remember those Road to Films!!!!
An bit of an eventful trip over to Mum's today, but luckily all was OK. As we drove past The Netherwood in Grange, all of a sudden this golden coloured dog suddenly ran right out in front of the car. Luckily Hubby was driving under the speed limit and his reactions were super fast. We thought we were going to at least injure it, but no it managed to scare the car behind us too and then just sort of smiled at us and ran back into the Netherwood, obviously OK. Then on the M6 a car decided to suddenly just cut us up, overtook us and then pulled in right in front of us with hardly any space to spare. The same thing happened again as we pulled off The Bay Gateway to turn into Morecambe. Unbelievable really and absolutely no reason for it apart from they were driving too fast and suddenly decided they needed to overtake or turn right!!!
AAah well anyway we made it OK. Mum had trouble with her hearing aids today and is going to get them sorted tomorrow. So we had to raise our voices somewhat so now I have a bit of a headache, but hey it can't be helped.
My brother and his partner visited just after lunch and as she knows how to sort out the hearing aids she had a look to see if she could sort them out. Guess what, it turns out that Mum had only put them i the wrong ears, ie left into right etc and now she can hear fine.
Then on the way out Mum's neighbour (who is also my sister's boyfriend) had a delivery but they left outside the porch instead of inside for some reason. 'so Hubby went to put it inside and found it locked. So he took it over to Mum[s to keep it safe, my brother came as the porch was supposed to be left unlocked for the delivery - it was, for some reason Hubby couldn't open it hee hee!!!.
Then as we drove off I went to ring Garron to let him know we were on our way back and guess what, I called Mum's number instead!!!!!
There is no helping us is there - still at least we can laught about it.
The Rhodi is from our bush by our front door and it is looking rather spectacular at the moment, so that is the blip for today.
Anyway do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
