The exhibition

We rang the bells this morning. We have two bell engineers come down from Holland to work on the bells this week to try and improve the balance of the sound within the tower. I thought the sound was pretty much ok before, but they are adding some soundproofing and ensuring that the heavy bells do not dominate the light ones. In the afternoon, I did a stint at the Painting expedition before packing everything away at 5 pm. There were more people visiting this year than last year which is encouraging.
