The Seven Sisters

I have walked the Seven Sisters in Sussex, but here there are just three of them. I finished my painting this afternoon. There were just three of us but it was a pleasant time as we chatted while we painted. I went to the bank in the morning to pay in eight subscriptions and sort out a few things for Helsinki. The weather was very pleasant in the morning but spoiled itself in the afternoon with showers. That has been the pattern for a few weeks now and there is no sign yet of a settled Mediterranean summer establishing itself. No one is really complaining though as we desperately needed an unsettled period after three years of drought.
