The shed

It is always called the shed which is rather an ordinary name for this attractive little building in our garden. Our house was originally stables and accommodation and we think this little out house could have been the tack room. But we have no way of finding out, so the shed it remains.
The previous owner told us when we moved in, in 1967, that this rose is called Golden Showers. There are several other original roses in the garden and they are very special to me. Sadly I don’t know their names.
It is a beautiful sunny afternoon, and a blackbird is singing his heart out.
