Gooseberries

I had written an account of today and lost it. A shortened version.

A morning at the allotment regaining balance between veg and weeds. Then, a long soak. The gooseberries were glowing in the sunlight as I left.

I went home with some rogue potatoes, the last of the leeks, rhubarb, and some flowers. Soup made and eaten before I tackled the greenhouse. I need to sort out watering cover for the next holiday.

Hopefully, a liquid diet will help my sleep issues. That and a wee snooze now.
