Another canal walk

A lovely walk to church then my sister Kate came over. We walked the other way down to the canal. The pollen in the air was awful, so many seed heads and clumps of them everywhere. It's no wonder my head feels so blocked with hay fever. When we got to Crooke my mouth was so dry we stopped at the pub for a lime and soda which was very refreshing before our walk up the field. 
After she left mid afternoon to beat the traffic on the M6 I did a bit of gardening. Things are growing at a great rate.
