Golden Beauty

The roses have been out in the garden for a while; like everything, seems earlier than normal. 

A sunny start to an incredibly busy day of laundry, cooking, cleaning, gardening (including mowing the back lawn, 12" in places, I kid you not!). A muggy 22 degrees this morning, then this afternoon the thunder arrived, along with sharp heavy showers which left the air much fresher.
