Portugal day 2

Day 1 of cycling, Porto to Aveiro, 61 flat miles. A lovely ride along the Atlantic coast and through salt marshes and lagoons with a short ferry ride. Generally good weather with just one shower and a very welcome tailwind. Aveiro is known as the Venice of Portugal though really it's just one canal and half a dozen gondolas! The old part of town is quite small but pretty. Laundry done and we're out for dinner. Most Portuguese food is not suitable for us so we're stuck with pizza tonight. The hotel is nice and posh though, at least it was before we turned up!
