Le Rire, Paris, November 1907

I bought this humorous old French cartoon several years ago. It hangs on the wall in our guest bathroom, and I am constantly amused by the reaction it gets. Women tend to find it very funny, whereas men don't get it at all!

Which (roughly) translates to: "I dreamed I was freezing and going to die ... and you kept saying: Oh! if only I had given her that fur collar she wanted, this never would have happened."

Discuss amongst yourselves.
