Bubbles with Lili
Solveig has invited us over for lunch, and of course, we accept - though we end up inviting ourselves for an overnight stay as well!
There’s a delicious lunch in the garden, followed by an hour or so of playing with Lili before we all collapse for an afternoon nap! Lili is a bundle of non-stop energy, constantly moving from one thing to another. She does love books, but at the moment sitting down together to read lasts for moments before she’s up and off to do something else.
A bubble wand keeps her amused - focus of today’s main and extras - but there’s also football, her little red car, her play shop and helping daddy garden using her own little set of garden tools!
G and I leave for a concert back in Liverpool cathedral. It’s excellent, the cathedral choir performing a selection of 20th and 21st centuries choral works followed by Will Todd’s Mass in Blue. The latter involves 10 jazz musicians and a mass choir of 250 - and a fabulously talented soprano soloist. Our second visit to the cathedral in a week - Helios now gone, but the musical element a great deal more successful.
