Desperately seeking

In My Woodland Garden...

... things are a little overgrown!

The central 50 year-old maple is declared dead this year but we have left it in place as we want to grow a clematis up it, the evergreen Montana type. Because of the lack of shade from it, the ramsons have gone wild. Well, they are wild, I suppose.

My last remaining giant toadstools need some TLC to keep them going a while longer.
The little pond (yes there is one) needs cleared out.
Repair a leak in the water feature.
My cat-hugging angel needs stood up properly.
The things that aren't ferns, bluebells, wood anemones or ramsons need weeded out.

Not a lot to do then, lol. In the meantime I'll just have a little sit and enjoy the cool calmness this little area has.

I've just been enjoying the benefits of 16 years of blipping in being able to look back on the development of this area of the garden.
