Mother’s Day
There was no dieting today. My children and DIL are fabulous cooks. Renee made breakfast and Kristen made dinner. Oh my goodness. I tried to be good, I really did. Thankfully, our event with Kim did not involve food; we watched Brooklyn’s soccer game. She had an assist and her best friend scored the only goal of the game. I made scones for Parker and Kim when we first got up. When we arrived at Jamie’s, even the invited guests were helping get his flower gardens planted. My sister just can’t relax. We left in time to get to Brooklyn’s game. She played offense today. Next stop was at Kristen’s. She and Chris have worked hard getting their property ready for summer activities. They and Jamie have the perfect places for entertaining. We spent time with Parker, Peyton, Mancil and Madi. So we saw the entire family except Skylar and Trevor this weekend. And I was showered with thoughtful gifts from all. Who could ask for more from life? Wishing you memorable time with those you love. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “Having kids - the responsibility of rearing good, kind, ethical, responsible human beings - is the biggest job anyone can embark on.” - Maria Shriver
