New sunglasses

No.2 is shopping for a wedding suit - he is best man in July to M who he has been friends with since they were four.  M's mother died when he was four (so round about the same age as Aimee).  No.2 was not that happy with the choice of suit but will look good whatever (could look good in a paper bag?).

My day started with a couple of hours in the garden - I wanted to empty the last of the pots (which squirrels had dug up) so OH helped and we got them done.  I then replanted with the red geraniums - a bit earlier than usual as I don't normally put them out until the end of May but the weather has been so warm, so here's hoping no late frost?!

SIL and BIL came for lunch after visiting care home and initial conversation was all about MIL, poor lady, actually feel sad for her now?  We had a very quick trip to the nursery (good priced plants and SIL is redoing her garden) and chatted to Mr Grump's wife.  Sadly he is on end of life care and she will close the nursery and move when he passes.  No more cheap plants.

Home for late lunch and I was hungry on account of no breakfast.  We sat in the sun and chatted (BIL and SIL can chat - don't ask many questions and do dominate..........where have I heard that before?).  I was ready for them to go around 5.30 but they stayed another hour.  SIL is getting more like MIL as she gets older and talks about driving on M25 and the traffic!!!

OH tactfully mentioned the football playoff starting at 6.30 and only missed the first few minutes as they packed up to go.  OK result - a draw.
