Speaks for itself

A very busy weekend with an extremely early start on Saturday to get the train to London. It was a beautiful day to travel down the east coast (see extra).

There were no difficulties with the trains, apart from missing a three minute connection at London Bridge (well, in the end I just caught the train I was expecting to catch).

It's been really wonderful to meet my granddaughter EAJS and spend some time with her and her parents. Today's blip gives you a little glimpse into their lives. At 10 weeks old, life remains pretty basic, but she enjoys sitting in her bouncer for a while interacting with the various toys. She's just beginning to grasp things, and if you put something like a finger into her grasp, she hangs on very strongly. She also really enjoys interacting with mirrors.

We stayed in the house today, and L and L put together a delicious barbecued leg of lamb. They'll be eating leftovers for days!
