Jerusalem!

This afternoon I had an appointment at the funeral directors' office to discuss the details of my Mum's funeral. Brian was able to join me as it was during his lunch break.It's just going to be a small family occasion, as she outlived virtually everyone she knew. 

Once we have a date I will notify my Dad's side of the family. I don't feel confident in writing a eulogy for my mum how I did for my Dad, I didn't have the same kind of bond with her..

On my walk home I looked out for something to Blip, and these bright, golden flowers on a bush caught my eye. Google Lens tells me that the plant is called Jerusalem Sage. I will have to find out if the leaves can be used for cooking...
