Ducklings

Not a lot of time for blipping today.  Much of my morning was taken up with a loooong coffee and yakking session in town with Little Sis and the handing over of a shoebox of ancient family photos.

So instead of the reserve I just walked through the park to see if I could spy a few mallard ducklings for my blip.  Results above and in extras.  And aren't they the funniest little things?  Their beaks seem to grow so much faster than the rest of them you wonder how they can hold them up on those slender little necks ;))

The weather hasn't been quite so good today but the rather mere bit of rain we had last night and in the middle of the day has to be welcome - the ground is so dry.

The only other thing of note I've done today is push forward the insurance claim for my (ex) flooded conservatory - so now I'm looking forward to being paid ;))
