Red

The other day I went to Shap Wells Hotel.  On the Saturday and Sunday a red squirrel event was organised by the Penrith Red Squirrel Group.  I popped along on the Friday and spent a couple hours with my finger on the button taking loads of photos.  I was glad to be there with  the other 5 folk doing the same thing.  You didn't have to wait long.  Nuts were strategically placed, but this red is 'hoovering up' seeds.  Seeds so small he/she couldn't grab them and eat them holding them in his/her paws.  A different behaviour.  I'm still sorting out  photos.
Every so often you could hear this chap calling and then up he comes into the glade-more photos.
