Don’t Be Fooled…

… This apple tree has never (in the nine years we have been its custodian) yielded a single, edible, apple.
I think it has The Blight.
Whether to give up on it is the big question. We’ve treated it in all sorts of ways and this year is probably its last chance.
The blossom is pretty though.
It has an Egremont Russett companion which has fared equally badly under our care but we are disinclined to give up on either. (The blossoming tree is a James Grieve by the way).

I am as pleased as a dog with two tails because I have (finally!!!) found a very nice pair of jeans in a style I like (not too thin at the ankle) that actually fit me AND don’t need to be shortened. This is cause for celebration.
Himself rolled his (like the rest of him, perfectly-sized) eyes. ‘You’ll probably want a pair in every colour now’.
Well, obviously.

It doesn’t mean I’m going to buy a pair in every colour.

Although.. :-)
